Rules and Regulations

Rules and regulations for the use of Sri Bandhan garden and resorts

In order for any function to be carried out in a smooth manner, the hosts and management must work closely together. We are always ready to co-operate with you in every respect so please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss any specific needs or requirements that you may have.

Possession and Return
If you have booked the hall for a wedding only, you get possession at 10 a.m. on the day of the wedding ceremony and the hall must be vacated by 7 a.m. the next day.

If you have booked the hall for reception only, you get possession at 7 p.m. on the day of the reception and the hall must be vacated by 12 a.m. on the same day.

If you would like to book the hall outside these timings or for longer periods (for example if you would like the reception to continue beyond 12 a.m.) please let us know and we will be happy to try and accommodate your request.

Booking and Payment
Advance payment of 50% for the rent of a hall/garden is required at the time of booking. A booking is not considered confirmed unless payment in full has been made before the booked day. A hall/garden that has been booked but has not yet been paid for, may be given away to another party if the other party makes payment prior to the person holding the booking.

Cancellation and Change of Date
Once a hall has been booked and paid for, it cannot be canceled.

If you do wish to cancel the booking, we will make that date/hall available to other parties. If the booking of the wedding venue has to be canceled due to any reason, then 10% of the total amount will have to be paid if the booking is canceled ten days before and 25% if canceled in less than ten days. If we are unable to get an alternate booking, the full amount of your booking will be forfeited.

A change of date will be treated as a cancellation and the same rules will apply. A booking for new date will have to be paid for in full at the time of booking.

General
You may not use the services of Sri Bandhan Gardena and Resorts staff for loading and unloading goods and materials to be used in a function.

You may not remove any property that belongs to Sri Bandhan Gardena and Resorts Halls from the premises.

No musical instruments or loudspeakers will be allowed after 10.30 p.m. or any other such time as applicable by law.

Electric appliances and electrical fixtures and fittings may not be moved or tampered with. Any damages arising out of such acts will be added to the bill at the sole discretion of the management.

Any damage to walls, windows, furniture, fixtures, and fittings will be added to the bill at the sole discretion of the management.

Every marriage arranged in the Sri Bandhan Gardena and Resorts must be duly registered as per the rules laid down by law. This is the responsibility of the persons booking the hall and a copy of the marriage license must be given to the manager prior to the date of the function.

Any bills paid by cash must be settled with the concerned manager and an official receipt duly obtained.

The manager must be consulted in advance for any lighting decorations required on the outside walls of the hall.

Safety and Security
While we exercise great care in making the Sri Bandhan Gardena and Resorts safe, it is impossible for hall staff to be aware of who is a genuine guest at a function and who isn’t. All your belongings, valuables, and cash should be safely locked in the lockers provided. Management is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from theft or misplacement of cash and valuables.

You are responsible to bring room locks for the private rooms made available to you during a function and for ensuring that the room is safely locked when unoccupied.

Dispute Resolution
We will always try and settle all disputes amicably and fairly. In the unlikely event that we are unable to do so, all dispute resolutions will fall under the jurisdiction of the Supaul Court.
